National Travel and Tourism Week Missouri Better Way to Stay

As National Travel and Tourism Week nears, BBIM invites you to come to Missouri, the Heartland of America for your next vacation.

This year the National Travel and Tourism Week is May 5-13, 2012 and there is plenty of time to plan for a Missouri Better Way to Stay vacation.

The Annual Salute to Travel and Tourism in America is the first full week of May and has annually been recognized as National Travel and Tourism Week since 1984.

Nationally, localized events are presented in cities, states and travel businesses to champion the power of travel.  It was established as National Tourism Week when the U.S. Congress passed a joint resolution in 1983 designating the week to be celebrated in May.

As you think about your vacation plans for this year, be sure to include Missouri and BBIM in your travel plans.

Caves of Missouri offer tours, Bat Fest and family fun

Caves of Missouri offer tours, Bat Fest and family fun for those adventurous enough to climb down into the deep caverns.

Missouri has been called the 'Cave State' because of the high concentration of caves within the state.  Some of the well known caverns are Bridal Cave, Cathedral Cave, Mark Twain Cave and Meramec Caverns all of which have wonderful tours guests can take.

Some also have festivals such as the Missouri Bat Festival at the Onondaga Cave State Park that is coming up on April 21, 2012.

What ever your reason for going deep into Missouri Caves plan your trip by visiting one of Missouri's truly great landmark caverns.
